Moonlight Friends
Adult Potion
Chapter 1
As soon as Star got out of bed, she practiced making bubbly shields on the floor. It was the Easter holidays, and she and her best friend Night and Buttons was going to the clearing every day. They were Moonlight Friends and their animals, Amy, Moon and Dye, helped them get better at Moonlight Magic. Only those who believe in magic get to see the Star Animals.
“Mum, can I go to Night’s house?” Star asked
“What! Fine, make sure you come back here at teatime, ok?” Star’s mum replied. On the way to Night’s house, she texted Buttons and Teal that she would be at Night’s house.

“So, are we going to be practicing magic?” asked Buttons once they were at Night’s bedroom.
“Of course we are, but we are going to the Wild Garden next to my house,” said Star. The Wild Garden was where they first found their Moonlight Animals.
“Why don’t we call our animals?” offered Teal. “Turquoise!”
“Moonstone!”
“Skylor!”
“Emma!” Skylor leaped into Star’s arms, Moonstone purred as she went on Buttons lap, Turquoise hooted on Teal’s shoulder and Emma hopped on Night’s leg.
“Mum, we are going to the Wild Garden, is that ok?” Night asked.
“Yeah, sure,” her mum replied. As they raced to the Wild Garden, they saw Star’s mum and waved to her.
Chapter 2
When they reached the clearing, they saw a figure coming.
“Quickly, hide in the trees!” Moonstone hissed. It was really rare that someone came to the Wild Garden. They hid in the trees as quickly as they could. The strange figure did not see them but it did past by. It was definitely a woman for sure. Star froze and her heart was pounding in her chest so loudly that she was sure the others could hear it. She hoped nobody coughed or sneezed! As the woman walked past, she made a green circle around her. The trees shivered.
“Spies!” she hissed. A blue light flashed at the girls, illuminating them like rabbits caught in a flashlight. Trees, brambles, bushes, branches and everything else around them exploded. Suddenly, a creeper grabbed Star’s foot and Skylor started to munch on the creepers around Star’s body. She saw that the others had creepers around them as well. Moonstone was chewing the ivy wrapped around Buttons, Turquoise tried her best to bite the brambles around Teal’s arms and Emma munched the creepers around Night. Teal jumped to her feet and leaped around, using her agility and speed to grab the tree branches before they hit the others.
“We need to get out of here!” cried Buttons.
“Go!” yowled Moon. Buttons grabbed Star and Night’s hands.
“Run, Teal, I will bring Star and Night!” shouted Buttons at the top of her voice.
“Got it!” cried Teal back. She ran back and Buttons slipped her fingers into Star’s.

Suddenly the world around them disappeared and turned grey for one moment. The next second, they were back in Night’s front yard in a patch of shadows. They heavily gasped, and soon enough, Teal was there.
