The Summer Reading Challenge and Winter Mini Challenge website is maintained for your personal use and viewing. Access and use by you of this site constitutes acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions which take effect from the date of first use.

Although care has been taken in preparing the information contained on this site, we do not guarantee its accuracy, and the Reading Agency is not responsible for any errors or omissions or for any loss or damage suffered by users of any of the information published on these pages.

All information on this site is provided ‘as is’, with no guarantee of completeness, accuracy or timeliness or of the results obtained from the use of this information, and without warranty of any kind whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Competitions posted on the site are subject to the above Terms and Conditions, as well as the following additional points:

  • Competition is open to UK and Eire residents only, and entrants must be aged 12 years or under. The judges’ decision is final.
  • If you win a prize, a member of the Reading Challenge team will contact you by email to arrange postage. Any prize that is not claimed within three weeks will be reassigned to a runner up.

Add a Book – The book title search uses a database containing book data submitted by publishers. We have stringent systems in place to restrict results to only show books falling within children book categories. However we cannot guarantee when a book is submitted to the database that it has been logged under the correct category. If an adult title appears in the search results please let the Summer Reading Challenge and Winter Mini Challenge team know immediately.
