I don’t know any words in Spanish except for ‘Hola’ and I think I spelt that wrong.
Nope! Hola is spelled correctly! And don’t worry about it! It’s never too late to learn languages!

Yes, you’re right! My dad has been learning Spanish for about 9 years, and I’ve only been learning for 5, and I’ve already overtaken him!
I’ve been learning Irish on Duolingo (like you suggested – it worked wonders, by the way) and in two days I’ve learnt how to place an order at a café, say what languages I speak and write fifteen word sentences so I guess children learn fast.
