Yes, last year you had to be 16 to volunteer at the library but this year you can volunteer when you are 14 so I’m very happy about that!

Once you turn 14 you can ask your parent or guardian to sign up online and then you can volunteer at your local library too!

Hi everyone! On Saturday we went to the library and I got some new books to read! We also went to the library on Monday to ask if I can be a volunteer and this year you can be a volunteer if you are 14! It used to be 16+ but now it’s 14+ and I’m 14 so I’m super happy! We applied and we are waiting for a reply! I can’t wait to go and help out at the library! I love little kids soo much and I think it will be a lot of fun!!!

Hi guys, did you know that if you don’t have many books at home or don’t visit your library often, you can download books online and they count. There’s this really cool app called Libby ; it’s free and you just put in your library card details and then you’ll have set up your account. You can borrow all sorts on there so have fun. I’m pretty sure that reading e-books count on this challenge.
