I really like books like Sherlock Holmes and in general really good murder mysteries.

Animal farm by George Orwell ( but its like 12-13+) it provides views on the Russian revolution in like 1917 and is an allegory.

Um, Agatha Christie books are GREAT, they might get a bit boring through the middle to some people, but the end is always WOW I NEVER WOULD HAVE GUESSED IT WAS THEM!!!!!! like, that’s what I always think.

The Agatha Christie murder mysteries are the best!!
At the moment, I’m in the middle of ‘And then there were none.’ It’s super good. I think my favourite murder mystery story is ‘A good girls’ guide to murder.’
I haven’t read either of those yet, but they’re on my list! I loved ‘The Murder of Roger Ackroyd!’ The ending was so unexpected!
That book is so good! It’s the most surprising end to a book I’ve ever read. I lay awake half the night just thinking about it!!!
I know, it’s super good!!! Another one I really liked was ‘At Bertram’s Hotel’! The ending was really dramatic! :-D

It’s a Miss Marple mystery! It’s probably one of my favourite Miss Marples, alongside ’The Body In The Library!
‘The body in the library’ was the first Agatha Christie I ever read, so I love it! I just picked it up as a random book from my school library, not expecting it to be SO good!!

Funny!!! Whenever I laugh at a book both my brother and my sister go, “What? What? I want to see!! What?” Which, as you can probably tell, is very annoying! Especially when I show them and they actually don’t think it’s funny!
That is so funny!! You should try writing some comics, or humourous fiction, because you write things in such a great way!
Really??? Maybe I’ll give it a try! I never even thought about that! What I really want to do is make up a whole universe, then write stories about lots of different things IN that universe. A bit like Terry Pratchett, but different because I don’t particularly like those books. Have you ever read any?

YES!!! I think the closest you get to Tolkien are books like the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (Also an AMAZING book) which isn’t surprising given as Tolkien and CS Lewis were really good friends!
Yeah, they read each others’ first drafts, and gave tips to each other! :-D I think that’s something VERY important about writing books; you must have a good First Draft Reader!! (FDR for short! :-D)
Yes, you must. To be honest, that might be quite fun, being an FDR, although a bit stressful because it kind of depends on you how good the final book turns out to be! I know Lewis and Tolkien dedicated some of their books to each other as well- they were REALLY good friends. It would be so fun to have a book dedicated to you!
I think it would be quite enjoyable! But you’d have to get someone who isn’t TOO critical, otherwise you’ll end up writing a book that’s quite different to the one you wanted to write! :-P
I know, right? Imagine picking up a book written by a friend, or a family member, and then seeing YOUR name in the dedication!! That would just be so awesomely surreal!!! :-D
Mmm, yes I agree with you it would kind of ruin the fun of writing a book if someone just read it and was like, ‘ok we need to change this, and this, and this, and this…’!
And yes, it would be SO cool, especially if you didn’t know about it! I remember once when I was little a book was dedicated to someone with the same first name as me, and for some reason I was convinced it WAS to me! I was very sad when my mum explained that other people have the same name as me.
(My brother can be like that sometimes, which is a little frustrating!!)
