Childrens Messages | Summer Reading Challenge

I’m trying to plot a story I’m writing, although I’m unsure how to make the plot engaging haha (i’m thinking of making it seem like a “chosen ones/prophecy” storyline, but create a plot twist that completely flips that idea around (with the villain being someone really close to the protagonist i created instead of who they believe the villain is), although i’m unsure if people would put down the book because the start is a lil’ cliche. also it reminds me a bit of harry potter so i dont think its too good of an idea hahahah).

it’s based on a village or country or somethingngnng where everyone has fire, water, earth or air powers. there’s also a strict government who’s only aim is to get more powerful and take other’s powers (i have no clue if that’s really cliche or not hahahaha)

yeah honestly i’m not really sure so plot ideas/inspiration is much appreciated hahahaha

i’ve been a little stumped on some of the plot points i decide to use recently hahhaha

I’m writing a story and I’m unsure of the plot. I’m planning on making a whole series. But I’m only on the first book and are unsure.

What’s your story about.
Mine is about a mum,dad and 2 children. The children sneak out of the house at night and have fun building sandcastles on the beach. They actually live in London,but came to the beach on holiday. The problem is that the dad sees they’re not in bed, and panics. But the children don’t know that the dad is awake.

The 2 children are called Izabelle and Julie. Princess Letizia just don’t ask me what the surnames are of this family, because I don’t know.

Oh ha nearly forgot to ask what are plot points, it sounds like you’ve entered a competition.

If you like animal stories I would reccommend Holly Webb books and Animal Ark books. If you would like a long animal story I would recommend The Bees.

If you like animal books then I recommend Magic Animal Friends. Because thats got people and animals. There are lots of books in the Magic Animal Friends series. So you may like them. Theirs also a website for them,wich is at the back of the books.
