Omg that sounds so fun!!! I know the Lord of the rings movies r so so good, but I haven’t watched them yet. They are my dad’s favourite films tho! So does lord of the rings risk take a really long time? Cause the version of risk I know takes at leat 2 hrs!
I totally was! I’m pretty sure The Lord Of The Rings movies are my dad’s favourites too! He loves the book! The Lord Of The Rings Risk really does take a long time, but thankfully the ring moves off the board eventually, so it can’t go on forever!
Don’t you remember we saw lord of the rings risk in the boot of someone’s car in the Christmas car journey to our gran and grandpas house???

I knew he was friends with C.S Lewis, but not with Roger Lancelyn Green! I’ve heard of him, but remind me what books did he write again?
Well, he didn’t exactly write the Robin Hood story, but he wrote one of the most well-known versions of it! And he also wrote King Arthur and His Knights of the Round Table, and Tales of the Greek Heroes!
Ohhhhhhhh, of course! I knew him from ‘the knights of the round table’ which I read when I was 8! I didn’t really understand it then though, so I’m going to re read it soon.

There’s a lot of books which I keep wanting to reread but never get round to- I guess it’s because my relatives keep giving me books! It’s kind of funny!!!
Oh, I know! I keep finding tons of really nice books in charity shops that are really cheap, so my stack of books to read gets higher and higher! XD
Wow, nice! My mum doesn’t normally let me get books from charity shops unless I REALLY want them, because she’s afraid I’ll just end up having so many books I won’t be able to get in my room!!!
Wow, really?? I try to restrict myself, but sometimes I see a really nice edition of a book I like, and I just HAVE to get it! I think I own at least fifty books now, and I’ve got twenty out from the library!
Oh I mean I think I own about 220 books or something bc when I lived in Senegal, I got LOADS and LOADS of books because there wasn’t much else to do! And then my younger sisters got about 80 as well!

I know I do! I’ve got a whole massive bookshelf which holds most of my books, but then I also have a shelf in the living room as well! And yes I did lounge in senegal for 5 and a half years- my parents were missionaries there. It was so awesome!!!!!!

Ok fair enough I guess flats are sometimes tricky to fit books in! And yes, Senegal was AMAZING. Part of my brain is really sad I don’t still live there, although England is also awesome. The best time of my life was there- in lockdown I was staying in this apartment block place (It was on the same site as the place my dad worked) and my best friend (Also a missionary kid) was also staying there! So we spent weeks and weeks playing together! It was so fun

So, I’ve lived in England, France and Senegal. I don’t really remember living in France though because I was only about 2 then. The only 2 things I do remember are really random: some brightly coloured bins and the smell of some paint! I know; super weird =)

That’s really nice! I’d love to live in France, or Argentina! Oh, wow, that is pretty random! Sometimes your brain DOES just pick a random thing, though! Brightly coloured bins… Is that something they have a lot of in France? (Having never been there, I really don’t know!)
I think my earliest memory is of one of my uncles reading to me from a fairy tales book! I quite like that memory, it kinda gives me a warm feeling inside. :-)
I know right, it does! I think it’s probably because I went to put stuff in the bin most days for like a year, so it’s kind of stuck with me ever since! And I don’t think they do, it probably just had graffiti on or something. The memory’s so vague I barely remember what colour it was anyway! Red, maybe…. Who knows?
That’s a really sweet first memory, I love it! I wish I had a nice first memory like that, it’s kind of weird just telling people about bins!
I think that things that the things you do every single day are some of the deepest memories you can have! Oh, I see, that’s cool! Some of my oldest memories just turn into a screenshot, or like a scene from a movie!
Aw, thank you! I think my uncle used to read to me a lot, which is probably why I remember it so clearly, and, as you saw those bins so much, that’s probably why you remember them a lot!
Yes, they probably are. My problem is I get confused whether I’m remembering something or if it’s just a dream, so I might even have an earlier memory then that! Who knows?
That’s cute, it’s nice to have relatives who you can see lots! Must of mine live the other side of the country really sadly. It means that I don’t get to see them as much, but I think it makes the times you do see them more special

Yes I know, it’s really annoying especially when i tell someone I did something then I realise afterwards, ‘Hang on a sec did that actually happen?’ So confusing!

Funny! So how old were you when you moved?
I think we moved pretty soon after my sixth birthday, so I only remember small bits, and they tend to be a bit blurry!
Ok, fair enough. I think for most people they only start to form proper memories after the age of 5 or 6. I guess that is true for me, but then a lot of my life happened before I was 6- moving to Senegal, moving houses, starting school, learning French exetera. But yes, I think maybe your brain just doesn’t really form the memory part of it till you’re 6 or whatever!

They’re just made of a coconut mixture, made into a vague mouse shape, with a strawberry lace for a tail, and little silver chocolate balls for eyes!
How did they taste? I would love to try one of those.
They were delicious! They’re pretty easy to make, just dessicated coconut, mixed with condensed milk, and icing sugar, and with the decorations I mentioned before on top! I totally recommend them, unless you don’t like coconut!
