Yes,there is The Hunger Games Trilogy with a sequel,The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.Both books are written by the same author, Suzanne Collins.The books explore a dystopian life ,the trilogy focusing on the reapings and life in District 12,alongside Katniss Everdeen’s most eventful life.The first is when Katniss volunteers as tribute in place of her little sister,Primrose(Prim).Katniss enters the Capitol’s arena with the male tribute of District 12,Peeta Mellark.A little love story goes on between them,and they end up being the two Victors of the 74th Hunger Games held by the Capitol.The people of the Capitol are pleased with the events,but the President,Coriolanus Snow,is not.He thinks that the climax at the arena was an act of rebellion from District 12.The District that noone pays attention to,The District that’s a joke.An act of rebellion in a District like that would spark others in the other Districts.That’s the main focus of the second book,alongside Katniss deciding who she should choose as her love,Gale Hawthorne or Peeta m Mellark,the baker’s son.The third is of the rising rebellions and how Katniss joins in.The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is pretty much a backstory to the events of the previous books,it looks into the introduction of betting and sponsors in the arena and the Tenth Hunger Games.This books is written in third-person perspective,while the other’s are in Katniss’s POV.I’d reccommend all the books,but my favourite was Catching Fire,teh second Book.
