Meet the Rockets: Holly and Joe

Meet Holly and Joe Rocket! They live in space with their children Leo, Cass and Bear, and Holly’s mum Nana Whiz.

Mum Holly is a rocket scientist and she’s brilliant at problem-solving.

When Holly visits the Moon Library, she heads straight for the science fiction shelves. She loves reading because it gives her lots of ideas for new inventions, like the hoverboard she built for Leo.

Holly likes to relax with a book of puzzles or get active at the space gym. Once she’s finished chasing naughty aliens all over the place, she can finally finish her crossword puzzle!

Dad Joe loves to spend time stargazing – his favourite possession is a telescope that he and Holly built together.

Joe also likes to cook, so if you ever take a trip to the Rockets’ satellite, make sure you stay for dinner and try his excellent lunar lasagne. Joe often finds great recipes at the Moon Library – at least he did until the aliens ran off with the entire cookery section!
