Here are some recommendations – I could give you all a lot but i’ll only give you a few… (I’ll put my recommendation on ages in brackets)

1. Highland Falcon Series – Sam Sedgeman and M.G.Leonard (9+)
A series about travelling the world on trains. 9/10.

2. Tinsel – Sibeal Pounder (7+)
A story about a girl who invented Christmas. 8/10.

3. Platform 13 Series – Eva Ibbotson (7+)
A secret behind platform 13.

Has anyone read ‘Darkness of Dragons’? I really recommend it to 9 – 14 year-olds who like an adventure and people who don’t mind fighting / a few bits of death in the background of the book (it doesn’t go in to too much detail though). It is about a boy called Patch Brightwater who was thrown in jail for being playing an illegal song on his pipe, he manages to escape and with his good friends Barver – a fire breathing dracogriff and Wren – a girl cursed to live as a rat, they embark on an epic journey. A journey to find the evil Piper of Hamelyn who is on the loose.
A dracogriff is a cross between a dragon and a griffin – just so you know

Every week I am going to do a weekly book review this week is A Good Girls Guide To Murder

I love the book a good girls guide to murder it is the best . It was such a plot twist . I mean who would think that the girls sister would kill her. She was so rude but then again her sister was a mean bully and so rude. Andie (the girl who died)had been selling drugs to a guy that puts drugs in her sister’s drink and went out with her. The dad of Sal’s(the guy that blamed for the death of Andie Bell) best friend had been the secret older guy she had been going out with at the same time when Andie was going out with Sal. that I rate that book a 1000/100
