Epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Life Story: Birth, Growth and Development by Dr Patrica Macnair
This book is about birth, growth and development. It tells you how a baby is born and how it is formed. It also tells you how big a baby is. It lets you know when a baby can crawl and walk. If you continue reading it will tell you how much sleep a baby needs to grow and it tells you what a baby needs to eat. It even tells you how they learn to talk.
At four weeks the baby is the size of a pea. At six weeks the baby is the size of a strawberry. At twelve weeks the baby is the size of a lemon. The mother may feel her baby moving between 16 and 22 weeks.
For the baby to be born its head has to be facing up and the mother has to push the baby out. When
The baby is born the cord is cut. When the baby cries it fills it’s lungs with air. Babies are fed from their mother’s breast.
My favourite part of the book is when it tells you how a baby is born. It is my favourite bit because I didn’t know a baby is born but I did know it came from the womb. I now know how a baby is born and how it is formed. My least favourite part of the book is when it tells you about the baby’s cord being cut. It is my least favourite bit because when I look at the cord being cut it looks painful.
I recommend this book for all ages because it has loads of facts and it teaches you lots of things about babies. For example what do babies eat. How much sleep do baby have. It tells you how a baby grows. It also teaches kids skills for when they are older.
Starting the reading challenge today.
