Not many people read books
They’re more focused on their hair
Their games and their looks
True.
I know, right? It’s weird how
People ignore these books
true.
Weird , right?
People should be reading these
These great books full of fun
These greats books full of great reads!

I mean, sure some books
Are quite hard to read
And sure, some books
Can be boring
But there’s always a book
Just waiting to be picked up
And a book isn’t just
Words on a page, nuh uh
It’s about the story inside
The characters feelings
Making a new friend
And then closing it, but not leaving
The smell of the pages
The feel of the cover
The pictures, the drawings!
Each of them put together
The words themselves
Are just a small part
Of what a book really is
Like one egg in Wal-Mart

Books truly absorb every inch of magic coming from the time and effort the author put into them. The human reading the book also soaks up all that wonder and mystery. Thank you for taking a moment to help us realise and think about this.

I am one of the reading ambassadors at school and we are planning the world book day
Reading ambassadors?
What are they, tell me more?
We don’t have them in our school
So, what are they? What do they do?
reading ambassadors are people – well in our school it’s children and they:
1)choose books for the school library
2)plan reading events like World Book Day
3)help find and recommend books to their classmates
4) help people in their class if they are struggling with reading( i probably spelt struggling wrong)
and anything to do with books and reading

Dear friend DBCPB,
I am here and I have been here over all this time you’ve been looking for me. I have been browsing the messages, but not posting many of my own.
Sadly, there is a reason for this.
I am going to have to leave the Old Poetry and Rap Society. Even though it breaks my heart to do so, I have many things going on in my life. I will try and chat as much as possible now, but I’m afraid I will have to give up my space.

Well, the truth is
With this society
Is that the only people posting
Were you and me!
So it’s probably stopped now
So there’s no point you being there anyway

Posting day to day
What a wonderful short handful of words,
Merged and mixed into a sculpture of greatness,
It reminded me of a sparkling day,
One I will remember, no less.
A day when we all had a future,
One glorious one, set in stone,
The day books were first written and acknowledged as magic,
Now we read them on our own.
