I could barely see over their shoulder and the view was a blurry haze of colour and motion. The distance was fading away in front of us I couldn’t think of why anybody would trek to see this. The haze cleared and my eyes snapped open everything was white and bright light shone into my eyes my aching head could barely process it…

Hi Ready, Set, Readers! I hope you’ve got sunny weather wherever you live (it’s sunny where I am)! In case you don’t know what Ready, Set Read! is, it is the theme for the Summer Reading Challenge 2023. It will launch on Saturday 24 June 2023, so it is very soon (it is 11/06/2023 now)!
