I recommend The Red Lord by Rick Riordan. It wasn’t what I usually read, but it’s funny and has a fair share of action in it.

I love the Diary of a Wimpy kid books.

I get bored of them after about 3 times of reading them! And they’re way too easy to read. They’re ok the first few times though. Maybe because 2 years older than you, it has changed.
