hello i am enjoying the summer reading challenge too! i am on my 21st book. my favorite authors and illustrates are Jacqueline Wilson, Roald Dahl, Jeremy Strong, Jeff Kinney and Julia Donaldson. My favorite book is my sisters voice by Sophie McKenzie.

I’m really upset, the writing competitions are for 12 years old and under… what about the people who are 13+? Why aren;t we allowed to enter? :(

That’s a bit harsh! I think there should be separate sections like under 12s and over 12s!

True!! It seems everyone older is forgotten about! Im 12 at the mo so this is my last chance but there are a lot of things that 12s are excluded from. Like there was a cinema ticket discout for kids 0-10 and teens 13-18 wat about 11 and 12. Comment if uve had this problem

I love how everyone here is saying how much they love the challenge and can’t wait to read more, and then there’s me… I joined because my little brother and sister wanted me to. But if I’m honest, I am enjoying reading again (I haven’t read a full book by myself in about a year.) I forgot how fun reading can be :)
