Read books by Jacqueline Wilson like : Queenie, Little Darlings, Candyfloss, The bed and breakfast star, dustbin baby , girls in love, girls in tears , girls under pressure and girls out late.
I’ve read Queenie and The bed and breakfast star but I have not read the others.
Jacqueline Wilson has really good books like: Diamond Girls, Lily Alone, Cookie etc. If you like a bit of history then try the Hetty Feather trilogy. Also try the Tracy Beaker books and check out the TV series. The Dumping Ground and Tracy Beaker Returns are the best TV series to watch
