I would recommend this book to boys aged 8-11 because it is about a scavenger who’s name is York and he lives in the inpost .One day some killer zoids attack the inpost , destroy it and capture all of the people except York . York sets off for a journey to rescue the people who have been kidnapped on the way he finds another camp and some people come and invite him and tell him use this as home. While York explores the camp he peeps inside the healing dome and he sees a doctor inserting a chip in a zoid’s brain which looked like a human he realised that all the people were good zoids . and the master tried to transform York into a zoid too but he managed to escape with a zoid called Bessie and they set off to a journey to rescue York’s friends……
