Has anyone actually read the whole series I have and I was so sad that I finished it because they were such good books and I did not know what other books suited me and what to read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous

OMG the harry potters are so amazing!! I would recommend the Hunger Games, Divergent and The Maze Runner if you are 13-15+ (which I’m not, I just have the reading age of a 16 year old even though I’m twelve)

Anonymous

I’ve read all the Harry Potter books and really enjoyed them but I got bored on sixth book :(

You don’t know what to read, Director Fandango Slingshot? Well, that’s what happened to me, I was in the same scenario as you, and I had no idea what to read, until I discovered this amazing series of books: the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer! It’s a mixture of magic and technology, and two worlds collide in this series, the two worlds are the magical fairy world, high-tech fairies nonetheless, and the armed and dangerous humans. It’s a really good series of eight books, and I’m sure that any fan of Harry Potter will be a fan of this young criminal mastermind!!! He’s only 12!!! I admire him!!!!

Do you know any good books that are funny and would suit an 8 year old? Also my library have ordered a book called Stink Bomb and Ketchup Face and the stupidity of bees which should be hilarious, as the ones in the before it are.

Mr Gum books are really funny and definitely suit an eight year old!

I would suggest Malory Towers and St Clares by Enid Blyton.

Anonymous

I would suggest Dolphin Diaries by Lucy Daniels

Anonymous

i love all the st clares there really good with all the tricks i’ve red them all. i’ve red the first malory towers it was good. If you like Enid Blyton i’d recommend the adventures with Phillip, Dinah, Jack and Lucy-Ann

Anonymous

Well if you haven’t got a soft heart, the I would say that David Williams is a good author.

Anonymous

David Walliams is one of the best authors in the world. Have you red them all i’d recommend Awful Autie and Demon Dentist.

Anonymous

I would say gangsta granny, ratburger, the boy in the dress and demon dentist they are all funny and good to read????

Anonymous

I would say any David Walliams, Horrid Henry, or Tom Gates. Mr Gum is also a good one, and they’re all really funny and quite suitable for an 8 year old such as you. No need to thank me for providing a whole selection of books, it’s no big deal, I just went onto the Book Sorter to find out Funny books for 8 year olds, and I said don’t mind which gender, because you did not say, so I hope you enjoy the Summer Reading Challenge guys!!! XD :D
