It’s a competition where you write a 500 word story and send it to the BBC and the top 50 contestants get to go to Buckingham Palace with a grown-up and from there on they will decide first, second and third for the younger and older category. There is an age limit, but I can’t remember what it is.
It’s 5-11 so I can’t do it because i’m 13

No not yet but I’m 11 so I might not be able to do it because I think the deadline is somewhere in November and I haven’t started on a story for it yet!

Even though this book is like 10-12 I know you like the Murder Most Unladylike Series , they have added the sequel to the Ministry Of Unladylike Activity called The Body In The Blitz

if classics are your thing try the famous five series and the Valley of adventure series both by Enid Blyton….If you want something different go for Michael Morpurgo books : War Horse, A medal for Leroy , best mate , etc.
