I need some good books for 10 year olds to read in the summer. Any ideas?

You could read Dork Diaries , Diary of the wimpy kid and horse books if you like horses.

Here are some of my top tips for this reading challenge.
1. Read 2 to 3 chapters a day!
2. Don’t start lots of books at once. Complete one book and then go onto the next.
3. Find somewhere quiet where you can concentrate on your book.
4. Enjoy what you read. Find a genre (pronounced john-ra) you like etc. Drama, friendship, non-fiction or horror.

My favourite author is Jacqueline Wilson. her book are for 10+ year olds but I started reading her when I was 5 years old. My favourite book from her is cliffhanger because it is like Mondays are murder by Tanya Landman which I really like.

My all time favourite book is ‘The London Eye Mystery’ by Siobhan Dowd. I would recommend it to both genders and ages 9+.

My favourite authors are Roald Dahl, Jacqueline Wilson, David Williams and J.K Rowling. Jacqueline inspired me to read and…. well to do better at Literacy (English). I hope lots of people read the Harry Potter series because I highly recommend this!! Like me if you like all my authors and more.
