One of my favourite books of all time is Roald Dahl’s Danny The Champion Of The World. It is one of Roald Dahl’s less wacky books, and is about Danny and his father who live in an old gypsy caravan, but who are stalked by an almost silent menace in the form of Lord Victor Hazell.
It is a simply MARVELLOUS book and is quite overlooked as a Roald Dahl book, I don’t think it gets the attention that it deserves and so you can do me a favour: read it. I promise you will love it.
