I think theres a good book for you its called dragon diary in the section for older kids :)
i would suggest anybooks by david Walliams, his books are entertaning and once you get stuck in all the excitement its hard to excape from his mindblowing books :) X

Clean break it is really good
Wonder by R.J Palacio because the content covered in the book is completely different to what I would normally read and Little Stars by Dame Jaqueline Wilson because I loved the Hetty Feather Series when I was seven and I was so happy when Little Stars came out because it was so different to the other Hetty Feather books. :)
