An Eagle in the Snow By Michael Morpurgo.
This book is about a boy called Barney and his Ma. The steam train they are on is under attack from German Fighters. Barney and Ma are sat in a carriage with a complete stranger, who tells a story to pass the time.
WHAT DAFFODIL THINKS OF THIS BOOK:
I am reading it at the moment, so I am not sure. My mum read it before me and she said it is really good. So I borrowed it. I have got onto the story and it is a mixture of heart warming, mysterious, adventurous but mostly exciting!
The Worst Thing about my Sister By Jacqueline Wilson.
It is about two sisters called Marty and Melissa. Marty is the youngest and is a VERY messy tomboy, whereas her older sister, Melissa, is a complete girly girl and leaves a sparkly pink trail of notebooks, hairslides and a Rosemary scented smell. They hate each other and fight a lot. But one day something terrible happens. Can you guess what it is? ( But don’t worry, it is a very happy ending)
