just try forcing yourself to read them and you might get used to it
I read a scary book once and it took me quite a while to get over it. What I used to do was read it during the day then read a different book at night to take my mind off it!

I agree with Dona Jewel Menace.
Just read it in the morning near lunch and read a different book in the evening!!
Don’t worry I don’t like them either but when someone gave me some advice I got over it! Here are some:
. if you don’t like it don’t read it!
. if you read something that scares you just remember nothing is really real it’s just authors writing something that just pops into their mind!
. tell someone that you trust they might get you over it!

I Think A Good Reccomendation Is Matilda, By Roald Dahl, Illustrated By Quentin Blake, If Not, Judy Moody And The NOT, Bummer Summer, By Megan McDonald. If Not Intrested, Go to the book sorter, That’s sure to find you a book!

Yes, I also think Matilda is a very good recomendation. I liked it so much I read it three times.
Same. I think I have read nearly every Roald Dhal book at least twice. Except for the witches. They give me the creeps!!

I have read one Megan Rix book and I am crazy about them. I have read The Runaways and I’m just about to start The Bomber Dog. But I really do recommend them. They are very sad and I cried for about a week after reading The Runaways. There quite thick but even though it made me cry I couldn’t get my head out of it and stayed up till 2 am reading it!
