I think summer reading is an amazing way for people to enjoy and learn when children learn they don’t know which way to learn or they need a bit of fun into it so it’s a great way!

I would say the Rose series if you are looking for something similar to Hetty Feather with a bit of extra magic or a David Walliams book or the How to Train Your Dragon series or To Be A Cat by Matt Haig! Hope this helps!

Animal ark books are great for a 6-8 year old ( if you are 8) There are also a series of books called warrior cats which I find amazing, they are books for around that age maybe a bit older. Also try reading Jaquline Wilson books.
