I like The White Giraffe by Lauren St John. I read this in Year 2 and it was a book to remember. You may need a box of tissues to read it, but it is an amazing book.

Dustbin Baby because its such a touching story about a mum who doesn’t want a baby and puts it in the bin a person hears crying and goes to the bin the next day and that’s how it starts!
