On Tuesday 20th February… it’s my year 6 Harry Potter Day!

I am dressing up as Hermione, and have borrowed Quidditch through the Ages from the local library. Fingers crossed I finish Harry Potter and the Philospher’s Stone tonight considering I am about halfway through!

We will be sorted into a house team by the Sorting Hat- and because we have 4 teachers in year 6, each teacher represents a different house! If I am in Ravenclaw, I get a blue book with the house badge on and all my Harry Potter work will be stuck in there.

Also, we are watching the first film: Harry Potter and the Philospher’s Stone in 3 sections so we can do a fun activity about what we have watched!More fun in the woods doing chanting and potion-making!

(The choices are Hufflepuff, which is kind and honest, Ravenclaw, who are thoughtful and wise, Gryffindor, the adventurous and determined pupils, and Slytherin, the sly and mischevious kind).
