Little Women is great but it is very long.
Maybe a book like Opal Plumstead – I read that when I was 10. It is really good and it is by Jacqueline Wilson but beware of the spoiler: it has a sad ending. Then again so do many of the Jacqueline Wilson books for kids over 10 years old. Hope you find a good book!
I am obsessed with diary of a wimpy kid which is good for either gender.I am 10 and I really enjoy. Definitely would recommend it.(Dork diaries is also good but its very girly but i’m a girly girl so its fine for me but if you don’t like girly stuff,I would advise you to not read dork diaries
