J.K Rowling. I love Harry Potter, they are my favourite books and films.
David Williams is a close second as I find his books funny and inspirational.

Try a different book
I agree, try reading something that you think will be just right for you! Before I borrow a book from the library, I always have look at the blurb and see if the book is my type. Otherwise, you can always check with you local librarian on what book would be right for you OR have a look at the book sorter on this web!
