I love diary of a wimpy kid it is very funny and is great at entertaining us.Youve got to read it if you havent already. and by that i mean the whole series.

I coriander is a really good fantasy book, set in historic london
Harry Potter is great because it is fantasy and wizards may have lived in the past so that is the history
Perhaps Horrible histories, the dragon with a chocolate heart, Gulliver’s travels…
Maybe consider a few David Williams books if you are a younger reader
Maybe the magic far away because it has worlds at the top of the tree and magical things like moon face.
There is a series of comic books called bad guys
horrible histories is probably your best bet. my personal fav in the series is terrible tudors, It’s the one with the most fantasy and “magic.” :)
