I would recommend Murder Most Unladylike by Robin Stevens.

Dork diaries
Pip street story’s are good, they are quick mystery’s aimed at younger children but I am within that age gap and enjoyed it so incredibly much! Couldn’t put it down! (Ps, if you like them it is a series)

best to read the serice but,
the more drama like ones are

half blood prince.

I would recommend you read either Fabio the world’s greatest flamingo detective by Laura James or another series by Laura James called Pug (the first book in Pug is called Captain Pug).
My younger sister read both series and she loved them.
