Someone help, what’s the Story Garden pls?? I’m pretty sure I didn’t log on at all last summer so was wondering if that was the 2025 challenge, but can’t see any (locked) avatars when I go to change avatar but can see Wild World and I didn’t log on during that one.
Sorry if it just looks like I wrote a wordy paragraph but my question basically is, is the Story Garden the summer reading challenge 2025, and if not, what is it?
Thx

I think Story garden is the 2025 one because Marvelous Makers was the 2024 one.

Coach Peaches Bertrand

Oh yes, I was wondering what the story garden is too. I think it’s just a thing they put on the website in spring bc they dont want out to still be talking about winter? I don’t know, but it’s definitely not the reading challenge yet.

Madam Wanda Bungalow

It is summer reading challenge!

Madam Heroica Birdbath

Well done for getting into the leaderboard!

Principal Ursula Menace

Yeah, Story garden is this year that is why there is a count down for the summer reading challenge :D

Principal Tuesday Lavalamp

Hi I love the alex rider series , I would highly recommend the d normal series kid normal series

Their not really the same as Alex rider though. I mean, some people do like them (me not being one, soz!) but I just don’t think they’re at all crime/thriller/spy. They’re just this guy complaining about his life.

Madam Wanda Bungalow

Oh my goodness you’re just like my brother! He loves Alex rider as well. Btw he’s doctor quicksand sausage roll. Anyway, maybe Percy Jackson? I really like murder most unladylike as well, and that’s sort of crime and thriller, so maybe that?

Hi everyone!

I’m really sorry I haven’t posted on here for so long but I have some VERY exciting news.

I am officially a child author!

I know, it’s crazy!! So here’s how it all started…

I was at a harbour, looking in one of the boats, Lady Daphne. I saw a piece of paper talking about a writing competition, where you can hope to get your writing entry published in a book! The only problem: I would have to submit it in 4 days of I entered. The story had to be about this boat, Lady Daphne. As soon as I got home I set to work on my story and, 4 days later, I had written a 5 chapter story and submitted it.

The next day I got an email that the people running the competition had loved my story and wanted to include it in the book of submissions. I was so excited!

Now, in a few days I will be getting my copies of the book!

It was only out for private order unfortunately, so you can’t order it anymore, but I will be sure to post again when I get my book!

My story that I wrote is called The Tale of Lady Daphne, and it’s about a girl called Lottie who desperately tries to save her boat, Lady Daphne, by entering the great British Barge Match, but that’s all I’m gonna tell you for now..

Please reply to this post if you want to hear more of the story!

M.H.B.

Ps. I may be writing a sequel to this book but I haven’t decided yet!
