The Story Garden,
A magical place.
Large, Friendly Rockmonsters ,
Read books for days.
I wish I could be there with them till the summer ends
Good challenge Brother xxx

I’m not interested
That’s quite rude, you could just not do it
In Wilmslow’s heart, a story garden grows,
Where sun-drenched paths and hidden secrets pose.
With whispering willows and roses bright,
Each bloom unfolds a tale in fading light.
Through verdant arches, tales of old take flight,
A living book, bathed in the moon’s soft white.
In Wilmslow’s heart, where dreams take gentle hold,
The story garden, stories to be told.
A winding path, where playful breezes blow,
And ancient trees their leafy stories show.
Each leaf a page, each flower a vibrant hue,
A tapestry of tales, both old and new.
Wow, brilliant! You could win
Really cool, but did you actually make it yourself??
yes i even joined a poem competition and i got 3rd place
Cool!
Oh I’ve done poetry by heart
Story garden rocks and so do we
In books everyone’s family!
-Madam Kangaroo Bertrand
(Mum) Where should we go? Can it be educational?
(Children) No, mum, please we want to go on a vacation, or…
Maybe a cafe or a theme park or a zoo?
M: No, none of those, oh I don’t know what to do!
(Mum sees Summer Reading Challenge poster)
M: I’ve got an idea, I know where to go!
C: Where, mum, where, we really want to know!
M: Come along with me and you’ll find many, many stories,
A big space full of books: funny, adventurous, gory!
They set off by bike, so they didn’t have to hike,
Arrived at 10 past 4, and knocked at the door.
Librarian: Hello everybody, lovely to see you here come in!
I really hope that you won’t mind all of this din.
You see, we’re now having our weekly ‘craft time’
C: Wow that really sounds FINE!!!
The children came in and had a whole lot of fun,
The mum liked it too, which means my poem is DONE!!!
Wow, that is a winner. Congratulations.
Oh wow thanks!!!! I was not expecting to win I didn’t think mine was that good! In my opinion Princess Cilia Sunshines’ was much better.
