My favourite character is Draco Malfoy.

Yes, he was a bit of jerk and bully especially in the first few books/movies, but as we find out later he’s probably one of the most intricate and detailed characters.

(spoilers ahead)

For example, he, unlike many other of the characters was a Death Eater, and more originally was /forced/ to be a Death Eater. This I find quite interesting and want to find more about lol

Also, his relationship with his parents, Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, are not good but interesting. For example, he softens slightly to Narcissa and looks up to Lucius as higher authority rather than a father I’m pretty sure.

His rudeness and bullying was only because he learnt from his father. For example, you may notice that Lucius (Draco’s father) was obsessed with Purebloods and such, which carried onto Draco. So technically, it’s not /completely/ Draco’s fault he was a bully and judgemental. I also presume he learnt the words “mudblood” from his father as well, although idk just estimating…

He never wanted to kill Dumbledore. You can tell by the fact he was stalling a lot, using other spells rather than just using “avada kedavra”. Also, in the Movies, you could tell from both that and Tom Felton’s great acting lol

Like stated before, he is one of the most intricate and detailed characters in my opinion. He just had no choice.

i just wish that J.K Rowling would tell us more about him in the books lol and Tom Felton’s acting was brilliant.
