My name is spelt like a quite common-ish name but it’s pronounced differently and my middle name is Vietnamese and Vietnamese is a very tonal language so no-one pronounces it right and my last name is English but no-one pronounces it right either because the spelling is a bit odd. In other words, my name is very hard to pronounce for English people.
Oh, I see! Most people don’t bother to say my middle name, even though it’s very pretty! My first name is the last name of a French writer!
I kind of like the name Amaryllis because it’s nice to say, but I would not like it if I was called that. I like my name, because it means water (it also means a bunch of other stuff, but this I my favourite meaning) and I think water is one of my favourite elements from the Skandar book series.
Yeah, Amaryllis is a lovely name. How cool! I think my name means something like earth! I think if I was an element, I’d either be water, or fire. Or if I was a Guardian, like in Ash Princess.
