I mean, the older ones were really funny and original. In my opinion, ever since
he got a new illustrator the books have been getting worser and worser! (Pardon my grammar lol!) So, not any more no.
(By the way, that was constructive criticism and I wasn’t trying to be rude to him.)
Wait new illustrator as in the one after Quentin Blake who I think is called Tony Ross (cos he took over at least 10 yrs ago)?? Or is there another 1 now?

Oh wow cool! We just own a normal set. Have you read any Charles Dickens? My granny just lent me Pickwick Papers, which is very long!!! It’s a really old copy with tiny writing, which makes it seem even harder to read!
Yeah, I’ve read a few of his books! Old copies of books do tend to have tiny, tiny writing, don’t they? The Brontë sisters wrote extremely small!
They do, don’t they. I actually don’t think I’ve read ANY of the books by the Brontë sisters, but I really should! They’re great classics!
They ARE very good! I recommend Wuthering Heights, though it is a bit sad sometimes!
I’m going to read that one next. It’s one of my mum’s least favourite books, because she had to study it in VERY fine detail for a long time for her GCSES I think, which means she got heartily sick of it!! 8)
