I have already read 6 books and I know I have all summer but I am to excited to slow down so here are some recommendations
His dark materials trilogy (the northen lights,the subtle knife and the Amber spyglass) Skulduggery pleasant is the best I am on book 4 it’s a bit of a horror but it’s funny as well.
