Harley Hitch and the Iron Forest Teaching Resource

Vashti Hardy & George Ermos

 Vashti Hardy & George Ermos

Harley Hitch and the Iron Forest, written by Vashti Hardy and illustrated by George Ermos, follows Harley, her robot dog Sprocket and best friend Cosmo on their problem-solving adventure in Inventia.

This cool resource aimed at year 5 and year 6 children provides the tools to help children design their own specially adapted robot and their own water wheel!

For example, you will need to decide what role or job the robot is adapted for (e.g., cooking, sports, performing arts) and come up with at least four design features that make it extra good at that job.
