Craft Your Squad!

Show us your crafts to WIN Silly Squad books!

This awesome Bamboozle craft was created by Isabella from Summer Reading Challenge HQ.

Hey, Isabella! What is your top tip for getting in a creative mood?

Looking at the world around you…upside down! It’s a great way to observe details you didn’t notice before, and you can use that inspiration to create some beautiful piece of art!

Who is your favourite member of the Silly Squad?

Bamboozle, because we share a love for graphic novels and comics.

How does reading make you feel?

Reading makes me feel like anything is possible!

Thanks Isabella!

Bamboozle the panda loves to clown around! He always has a trick or two up his furry sleeve!

Bamboozle runs the One Stop Prop Shop in the Silly Squad’s fun house. The Prop Shop is filled from floor to ceiling with wacky items to make you chuckle, like flowers that squirt water, giant glasses with fake noses, and spinning bow ties.

Bamboozle is very creative and likes to make crafts and new props from objects he finds around the fun house.

We’d love to see your Silly Squad crafts!

See if you can create a member of the Silly Squad at home or at the library!

You could…

Draw or paint a picture of your favourite Silly Squad member

Create a collage using coloured paper or magazines

Make a model from play-dough or clay

Ice a cupcake to look like an animal

Make an animal pom-pom like these super cute penguins

Give origami a go with these step-by-step guides

Grab your Lego and get building. North Lincolnshire Libraries have a fun video to inspire you
