Reviews

I would say this book quite well adapted for us readers in the modern era. It updates the views and sexual orientations that the Romans thought of and developed. I enjoyed the story about Vulcan and Venus, and how Venus was always breaking her wedding vows to be with Mars, the god of muscles and war. Vulcan was extremely upset, so we caught them together in a net and called down the other gods from Olympus to laugh at them.

My favourite story in this book was the story of the Sabine Wives because the battle in it was very exciting. Yes, I would recommend this book to a friend.
