This was a heart warming story about the potato famine and what life was like back then in Ireland! Three siblings are traveling to their aunt's house cause there baby sister has died from fever and their parents have left without a trace. Really good book, Make sure you read it!

I liked reading it. It had a good storyline and the characters were good. It also described how life was back during the Irish famine. My favourite character was the boy because even though he wasn't the oldest he still kind've led them and he lit fires and hunted for food. I would recommend it to year 5 and above.
