The book centres on how the Germany tried to invade some really strong countries, but got their way into other weak countries. It also has a comic section in the book. I will recommend this book for history purposes and also for a bit of laugh.

I learnt all of the weird and wonderful facts and rules of World War Two. The only reason that it isn't a five star book for me is that it has the gruesome facts of WW2 too.

I think it is a good book because it doesn't miss anything, it fits in everything. Another reason is because it show to you little parts of things, small copies of actual pieces of writing from the Second World War. Yes I would recommend it to someone else.

It interested me because there was a really cool song in it.I learnt that the Dad's army was originally called the LDV,short for Local Defence Volunteers. The song is by George Formby and goes like this: I'm guarding the home of the Home Guard, I'm guarding the Home Guard's home, All night long, steady and strong, Doing what I told 'em, I can't go wrong. One evening when on LDV, Some German Soldiers I did see. They ran like Hell ...but they couldn't catch me! I'm guarding the Home Guard's home.

I found this book hilarious because the jokes were really funny. This book doesn't just show you what happened in the Second World War but what it what like for the soldiers and how you would have behaved. From the winners and losers to the to the heroic home front, this book has a chapter for everyone!!!

There were lots of funny bits including the bits where they were acting out the world war using model tanks and people. I also learnt a lot about the second world war. The most funniest bit was that I found out that soldiers had to wee in their boots to keep warm!
