This book interested me because most Horrible Histories aren’t as funny; this one intrigues me because it has the perfect balance of facts and jokes.

It was very interesting because it taught me about the Romans beating the Celts in a war and the tools they used.

The Horrible Histories books are very funny, they explain fact about history in a way that children find very funny. We have been studying Romans at school so I enjoyed this one.

I enjoyed this book. The best bit was finding out that elephants wrote in Latin to entertain people. I would recommend it to a friend. I would have liked to learn more about the other countries that the Romans took over and how that happened (other than Britain).

This interested me because it's another horrible history book (and I like these), and it's funny, has some very silly sayings and tells you about some very brilliant battles between Romans and Gauls or Celts (and I also like reading Asterix books and so it's good to learn the history behind the stories). For example, did you know that the Emperor Caligula made his horse a type of ruler called a "Tribune"!?

I liked how history is made humorous in this book. I enjoyed the quizzes in the book too. I was horrified to find that if you joined the Roman army you had to be in it for 25 years!

I like this book but I don't think it's as funny as some of the other Horrible Histories books. I liked learning about the Roman emperors, even though some of them were very cruel.

It was nice because it was a bit like a two in one because it had a bit about the celts in it.The bit that interested me was the Roman emperors and their most evil act.I would recommend it someone else

In my opinion Rotten Romans, was interesting and informative. Facts were on every page, however, it adds funny illustrations and jokes.
