A stunningly illustrated big book of maps, exploring how people have shaped cities . . . and how cities have shaped history.

I enjoyed reading "A History of the World in 25 Cities" because it mentioned the history of amazing cities. There are so many pictures and the information is fun to read. It tells you how the city was built, how a civilisation started in that city and some fun facts about it. I especially loved reading about Tokyo, Xianyang, Berlin and New Delhi. I would definitely recommend this to any person who dreams of travel and wants to know about the amazing cities in the world we live in.

I like when the book explained how cities were constructed and how many people lived in there.

Interesting format and idea but I did feel that the map style pages were missing some info that could have been there about certain features that were labelled but not described.
