I really enjoyed this book. My favourite character was June because I really liked her personality. Emma Carroll is a great author and I knew I liked her other books, so I thought I would like this one too! I would definitely recommend to someone else.

I would recommend this book to yr5 and upwards! It is such a fantastic book about three different kids through there wartime. They are all connected by a man from the American soldiers troop working to save where these children live. This book includes many untrainable dogs and there owners.
