In fact it causes him more trouble than it’s worth as he gets caught up in a fast-paced adventure that he finds impossible to control…

Awards include Hillingdon Primary Book of the Year, Heart of Hawick Book Award, New Horizons Book Award and Red House Pick of the Year. When not writing, Jackie likes to meet her readers by visiting schools, libraries and Festivals, giving talks and workshops to inspire a love of reading and writing. She lives in West London with her husband and mad dog. She was delighted that Dougal Daley – I’m Phenomenal was chosen as a Silly Squad Summer Reading Challenge pick.
