I have just entered the Story Lab competition by finishing off a short story called the old well. You may think that up to 500 words is alot but once you get into the stories flow, you want to write 1000! From my expiriences, you find the first about 100 words hard, but then it just all spills onto the page. I ended up writing about 700 in the end!
