Tom Palmer’s Foul Play Series, including (in order) Foul Play, Dead Ball, Off Side and Killer Pass is epic. It’s mostly for boys but a girl reviewed it so anyone can read it.

I like Jacklin Wilson books cause they have good plots and she writes her book so you carnt put the book down :) xx
