Depends how old you are because the book I am going to recommend now is for 10+ and it is called ‘The Ghosts of Heaven’ by Marcus Sedgwick.
i would recommend harry potter books

There are some books by Bear Grylls that I really like they are about a boy who is very adventurous. For example: Lair of the Leopard and Way of the Wolf.
I would recommend ’ the valley of adventure’ by Enid Blyton , I am reading it now as my sixth book.

You will find that on holidays you get bored at random times in the day, get up and go read. Wherever you go, in the car, on a day trip while standing in a queue READ A BOOK!!
In the car it gives me headaches,but try reading before bed for at least 15 minutes.
