I really enjoy reading and think that there are many unusual books. My challenge to you; Comment on some of the most UNUSAUL books that you’ve read or heard of. Interested? Read On… I am only 10 but I think that commenting about unusual books and articles is fun, and I think that many people could enjoy them too. Remember: It doesn’t just have to be a storyline, it could be a title, article (newspaper etc.), front cover, or characters, or anything else you can imagine, as long as it is CRAZY and involves words!! (Please ‘like’ if you are interested and are going to try!

Hello. I just started the challenge on Monday and have already read four books. Looking forward to reading lots more books this summer holiday.
Also, do any of you have any recommendations for a ten year old boy? :-)

Coach Arthur Casserole

You’re ten, you say? I’d recommend these two books, The Considine Curse and The Thornthwaite Inheritence. They’re both written by an author named Gareth P. Jones, so they won’t be too hard to find.

Diary of a wimpy kid is cool but you might also like to try the books by Anthony Horowitz starting with stormbreaker. I am 12 and I love them. They are perfect books for boys.

Do you have any recommendations for a 12 year old girl ( btw I am not a girly girl) I am stuck on what to read

Anonymous

If you’re not a girly girl, then I suggest you read Mortal Engines by Phillip Reeve. There is a girl in that book called Hester who is very strong and confident.

Diary of a wimpy kid is a great book for boys and girls. People in my class have read them and enjoyed them.

well i would have a go at wolf brother michelle savor

Maybe you could start reading Percy Jackson or Alex Rider if you haven’t read any of those yet

Anonymous

i heard that the David Walliam’s books are quite good, i enjoyed reading some of them

I recommend Arctic Adventure by Willard Price because it is full of adventure. No matter who you are, you will probably enjoy it. Any recommendations for a 12-year-old girl?

The story treehouse series

Harry Potter, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, I can’t think of any more.

Well done on 4 books ! I’m just starting my fifth. I would recommend An Elephant in the garden, by Michael Morpurgo. Its a book based in world war two and good for both boys and girls! Good luck!
